About Brooke.

Every person deserves to feel seen.

I believe therapy begins with connection.

Before we explore emotions, patterns, relationships, or the experiences that have shaped you, there must first be a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can set down the weight you’ve been carrying, feel genuinely understood, and begin reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, protected, or hidden along the way.

You are not a problem to be fixed. You are a person with a story worth understanding.

Why I Became A Therapist.

My path toward becoming a therapist was a gradual one, shaped by both personal experiences and a lifelong curiosity about people.

As a queer, non-binary person, I have witnessed firsthand the healing that occurs from offering an affirming therapeutic space where authentic conversation leads to a journey of self-discovery. I understand how isolating and frightening it can feel to move through some of life’s difficulties. Experiencing the importance of feeling supported and understood helped shape my desire to become someone others could turn to — someone who could offer a space where they did not have to navigate difficult experiences alone.

I have always been fascinated by people: the experiences that shape us, the stories we carry, and the reasons we become who we are. Becoming a therapist allowed me to bring together that curiosity with my desire to help others better understand themselves.

I believe that when we are met with compassion and acceptance, we create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like

I believe therapy should feel human.

While I bring clinical knowledge and therapeutic training into our work together, I also bring myself as a person — someone who genuinely cares, listens with curiosity, and believes that connection is at the heart of meaningful therapy.

I aim to bring a warm, authentic, and welcoming presence to our work together. I believe there is room for both the difficult moments and the lighter ones — for tears, reflection, honesty, and even laughter.

My hope is that you feel comfortable showing up as your whole self. You do not need to perform, have the “right” answers, or explain away the parts of yourself that feel complicated.

There is space for all of you here.

My Therapeutic Approach

I take an integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach to therapy. I draw from approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based practices, and, when working with couples, the Gottman Method and EFCT. Rather than following a single formula, I tailor our work to you — your experiences, needs, goals, and the pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a space where you can better understand yourself, explore what has shaped you, and develop greater clarity, self-compassion, and choice.
